GoSafe, with Fall Detection

The GoSafe system utilizes up to six advanced technologies including wifi, GPS, and digital breadcrumbs, all designed to locate you quickly. With GoSafe, you can feel comfortable going for a walk, playing golf, running errands, etc. You can continue to live life to its fullest knowing you can get help whenever you need it, wherever you are.

GoSafe includes Fall Detection, two-way voice communication directly from the pendant, and 24/7 access to our response centre.

Once a fall* is detected, or you have pressed your mobile help button, a trained response associate will quickly assess your profile and your situation. Based on your needs at that moment, the associate will react accordingly. So, whether you are in the comfort of your own home, or on the go, you will always feel safe and secure.

* Fall Detection does not detect 100% of falls. Undetectable falls can include slow falls, falls from low heights, and slides from seated positions. If able, users should always press your help button when you require help

Wear the GoSafe Help Button around your neck as a pendant, both inside and outside the home, for access to help when you need it! The GoSafe Help Button is designed to automatically place a call for help if a fall is detected and you are unable to push your Help Button.

How Does GoSafe with AutoAlert Work?

Press your mobile Help Button at any time. If you fall and can´t push your button — the AutoAlert feature can automatically call for help if it detects a fall-at home or on the go.

A caring Response Centre Associate will quickly access your personal profile and assess the situation.

Our Response Centre Associate contacts a neighbour, loved one, or emergency services – based on your preferences – and will follow up to make sure help has arrived.


1 Our GoSafe system is packed with a variety of locating technologies to help locate you in an emergency, including:

  • Two-Way Voice: The pendant has a built-in speaker and microphone allowing you to talk with our Response Centre or Emergency Services hands-free, directly through the pendant, and provide location information.
  • Global Positioning System (GPS): Satellite navigation technology can locate you whenever there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites.
  • Intelligent Tracking: When you move, this technology uses the path you take to leave a trail. This path can then be accessed by our Response Centre in the event that your last-known location is helpful.
  • WiFi: This technology utilizes a growing database of WiFi hotspots to locate you, particularly if you´re indoors.
  • Audio Beacon: Feel confident even in remote areas. The Mobile Help Button comes with an alarm that can be activated by our call centre so audible “you´re getting closer!” information can be heard by first responders.
  • At Home: If you are within range of your home Communicator, we´ll know that you are either at home or very close to home.

GoSafe may not always be able to determine your location.


Response Centre

ConnectCare subscribers have 24/7 access to our fully-owned Canadian based Response Centre. Our Associates are meticulously trained to professionally, courteously and sensitively serve you.

When you sign up for service, you share with ConnectCare the contact information of the people you would like to help you in the event of a medical event or other emergency. When you press your Help Button, our Response Associates accesses your profile, and contact the people you´ve identified, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate, to get you the help you need.
